- What it is
- Visibility into the health of AWS services and, specifically, events affecting your resources.
- Two views
- Service health — the public status of every AWS service in every Region. Available to anyone.
- Your account health — personalized events: scheduled EC2 maintenance, certificates about to expire, resources on degraded hardware, deprecations you must act on.
- AWS Health API
- Programmatic access to your account events. Requires a Business, Enterprise On-Ramp, or Enterprise AWS Support plan.
- Feed events to Amazon EventBridge to automate a response.
- Not to be confused with
- Amazon CloudWatch — the health of your workload. Health Dashboard is the health of AWS and its effect on you.
- AWS Trusted Advisor — best-practice recommendations, not incident notifications.
